Any foreign visitor entering China must have a valid passport and should check if their country or region qualifies for visa exemptions.
If you need a Visa to enter China, please make sure you have sufficient time for applying a visa at your local embassy of China.

Alipay is widely accepted for taxis, restaurants, and most retail shops. Users can link major international credit cards (issued outside mainland China) to their Alipay accounts for daily purchases.

Chinese people emphasize politeness and respect and often shake hands to show friendship when meeting. When eating in a restaurant, one should pay attention to the etiquette of using chopsticks, not pointing them at people or sticking them in the food.
